OUR APPROACH
Optimizing Building Health and Safety
EH Building Health is your one stop shop to create a safer and healthier workplace, tailored specifically for your employee and customer’s needs. As the building performance experts, we use a comprehensive approach to improve the air quality and health of your building.
EH Building Health optimizes air quality, safety and health by bundling multiple building measures to provide the most cost-effective ways to treat and optimize building environments.

Enhanced Ventilation & Filtration
Improving air filtration and ventilation to the highest compatible level can cost effectively improve air quality by better filtering of harmful particles in the building. Supplemental portable room air cleaners with HEPA filtering can greatly increase filtering capacities.
UV Lights
UV lights have been shown to destroy genetic material of viruses and bacteria. UV lighting has been used for years in hospitals and health centers to combat the spread of germs. Safe and proper installation of regulated UV products can provide effective cleansing of high touch surface areas.
Ionization Technology
Ionization Technology generates and introduces charged ions into HVAC air flow as part of an air purification process. The charged ions not only deactivate bacteria and fungi but can also assist in the filtering of organic compounds, indoor pollutants and odors.
OUR RESEARCH
>95%
Studies demonstrate that UVC light (207–222 nm) can efficiently inactivate bacteria and virus particles without harm to exposed skin. This is because, due to its strong absorbance in biological materials, UVC light cannot penetrate even the outer (non living) layers of human skin or eye; however, because bacteria and virus particles are of micrometer or smaller dimensions, UVC can penetrate and inactivate them.
99.9%
Air ionization works through the reaction of negatively and positively charged ions. The ions attach to airborne pathogens, such as viruses causing a chemical reaction on the cell membrane’s surface. This deactivates virus particles, rendering them harmless, so they can no longer spread or cause infection.
99.97%
High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters are most effective at removing small particles. HEPA filters have been shown to remove 99.97 percent of particles of 0.3 microns. Existing HVAC systems in most homes and commercial buildings generally don’t have filters that can filter out virus pathogens.
